♡ 29 ( +1 | -1 ) PolgarIs Judith Polgar the only woman who is competitive in chess? I'm new to the game and am interested in learning more about the people who play. I'm sick of talking and reading about openings, tactics, etc. If she is, why does anyone think that women don't make a greater impact on the chess community?

♡ 36 ( +1 | -1 ) judith polgarPycroft, Judith also has a sister rated slightly below her. Their father is a renouned chess instructor in Poland. He has a book out - 5334 problems ,games and chess puzzles that I recently read. Don't quote me on the exact title. There are many top rated females out there and some are shown as opponents in the book (of the sisters games).
