♡ 16 ( +1 | -1 ) I don't know much about England, but at least in the States, a "shocking move" is an unexpected move, while a "shock move" is ungrammatical--shock isn't an adjective.

♡ 46 ( +1 | -1 ) uh oh !!.....grammar !!The USA and England.....two nations divided by a common language !!
The colloquial term shocking, according to the Oxford English dictionary, means very bad. A typical use of the word shocking, expressed in soccer terms, might be "Alpay made a shocking tackle", which we would regard as meaning a very bad tackle.
