What makes a game to the best? I want not only play games but to have more from chess also. I'm going to define the best game of m-tournament but before I want to ask your opinion what do you consider as main aspect for the best game.

Select 3 from that list and arrange them in next order:
a) the most considered;
b) a lesser consideded;
c) considered.

So a list:
a) to bring to life a long term strategy;
b) a shocking move and following lighting attack;
c) tactical solution;
d) an increasing positional pressing;
e) a skillfull defence
f) other (name please)

Remarks are welcome too...

Hi loreta I realise that English is not your first language so may I please be permitted to alter the wording of b) for you

b) a shock move followed by a lightning attack

A shocking move is a very bad move whilst a shock move is an unexpected attack

Kind regards,

Cal

Here is my opinion 1. d
2. e
3. f: a fight to the end (never giving up the defence without a fight, and allways finding clever counters, that are countered again :-) )

Kind Regards,
Dozer

I don't know much about England, but at least in the States, a "shocking move" is an unexpected move, while a "shock move" is ungrammatical--shock isn't an adjective.

uh oh !!.....grammar !! The USA and England.....two nations divided by a common language !!

The colloquial term shocking, according to the Oxford English dictionary, means very bad.
A typical use of the word shocking, expressed in soccer terms, might be "Alpay made a shocking tackle", which we would regard as meaning a very bad tackle.

Kind regards,

Cal

My order Well here goes...

f) Refutation of opponents intentions, i.e. constriction, strong defense, material sacrifices for positional gain.
g) Progressive build up and attack. i.e. calculating the right order of those super exchanges of virtually all pieces!
h) Generating chaos.
i) Finally, Winning by a whisker! :?)
